The agreement was signed by the General Manager of CMP, Francisco Carvajal, and the Executive Vice President of ENAMI, Iv\u00e1n Mlynarz, within the framework of the Regional Development Forum, FOREDE 2024, organized by Corproa in Copiap\u00f3.<\/p>\n

The agreement will allow small producers to access through ENAMI the rental of CMP belongings located in the sectors of Los Vilos, Canela, Illapel, Vicu\u00f1a, Panul and Andacollo, in the Coquimbo region; and Cha\u00f1aral, Diego de Almagro, Caldera, Copiap\u00f3, Tierra Amarilla, Vallenar, Alto del Carmen and Freirina, in the Atacama region.<\/p>\n

The General Manager of CMP, Francisco Carvajal, highlighted the signing of this agreement for the company \u201csince it will allow us to enable 44 thousand hectares for small mining in a large part of our operating territories. This initiative not only reinforces our commitment to shared growth, one of the central axes of our strategy, but also encourages the economic development of local communities, promoting a sustainable model that benefits all those involved, creating employment opportunities and improving the quality of life in the regions where we work. This step marks significant progress in our mission to promote inclusive and responsible development.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Executive Vice President of ENAMI, Iv\u00e1n Mlynarz, highlighted this initiative, pointing out that \u201cthis public-private alliance in favor of small mining that we have concluded with the CMP, adds to other actions that we have adopted from the state company to provide more possibilities to small producers, and thus contribute to the generation of new mining businesses to enhance this sector and the regions where they are developed.\u201d<\/p>\n

It should be noted that during 2024, ENAMI has made mining assets of its property available to small producers in the province of Limar\u00ed, in the Coquimbo region, and in the regions of Atacama and Antofagasta. In addition, the state company recently signed a collaboration agreement with Codelco, which also considers deepening the transfer of belongings through lease or loan contracts that can be managed by ENAMI for the benefit of small-scale mining.<\/p>\n

Small producers interested in this portfolio of belongings that are part of the agreement with CMP will be able to access a mining property that already has basic geological information, and also enter a process in which they will have technical assistance from state professionals and support. in each of the stages, such as application, formulation, formalization and implementation, which will allow the development of new work alternatives.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
