The program will benefit 70 small-scale farmers and entrepreneurs from the territory through technical workshops, hands-on learning opportunities, and support networks aimed at strengthening their farms and businesses in a sustainable manner.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With an event held at Compa\u00f1\u00eda Minera del Pac\u00edfico\u2019s (CMP) Los Olivos de Bellavista agricultural site, the company officially launched the 5th edition of AgroEmprende, a program designed to provide technical and commercial tools to small-scale farmers and entrepreneurs in the Huasco Valley.<\/p>\n

This year, the initiative will benefit participants from the communities of Llanos del Lagarto, Huasco Bajo, Canto del Agua, El Pino, and Huasco, strengthening the local productive identity while promoting a more ecological, efficient, and environmentally friendly agriculture. AgroEmprende also includes theoretical and practical workshops in different localities, training activities at the Los Olivos site, and networking opportunities with public, municipal, and educational institutions.<\/p>\n

During the launch event, attendees toured CMP\u2019s demonstration farm, where they were able to learn firsthand about some of the eco-agronomy techniques and innovations being developed. A dedicated space was also arranged to showcase the products and projects of entrepreneurs participating in the program.<\/p>\n

AgroEmprende 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2026 edition includes content related to hydroponics, fruit and vegetable dehydration, efficient water use, climate change adaptation, crop management, sales techniques, banking access, and financing alternatives, among other topics.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the program will include volunteer initiatives to support the construction of urban gardens in local schools, promoting the transfer of knowledge to students and educational communities.<\/p>\n

With this new edition, AgroEmprende reaffirms its contribution to local productive development by creating networks, strengthening entrepreneurship, and promoting new opportunities.<\/p>\n
