Throughout the program, participants acquire practical skills, strengthen their capabilities, and prepare to build successful careers in an industry that plays a key role in the sustainable development of the Atacama and Coquimbo regions.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>CMP&#8217;s Apprenticeship Program is designed to identify, develop, and prepare young talent for careers in mining by offering recent high school graduates a one-year training experience within the company, supported by experienced mentors and hands-on learning in iron mining operations.<\/p>\n<p>Nicolay Peralta, a graduate of the 2025 Apprenticeship Program and now a CMP employee, shared his experience:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;This program was an excellent opportunity to learn, both from a technical perspective and from the people who guided us throughout the training. One of my main goals was to join the company, and today I am very happy to have achieved that. To those beginning this journey, I would say: make the most of this experience because it allows you to grow, learn, and build a future in the mining industry.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>2026 Apprenticeship Program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the same ceremony, CMP officially launched the 2026 Apprenticeship Program, welcoming a new group of young participants from the Copiap\u00f3, Huasco, and Elqui valleys, where the company operates its main mining assets.<\/p>\n<p>The selected candidates successfully completed a comprehensive recruitment and selection process, which included a pre-training stage designed to prepare and assess participants in technical, operational, and mining-related competencies.
